French Necessity Notes 1914-1918 Issues. "Bon de Guerre, Ville de Saint-Quentin". Description: Printed in three colors. Texts and decorations in black, the background in purple and the value "MILLE FRANCS" in red. No Serial. Black number. 2 signatures on the front. Black handstamp on front. On back, arms of the town with 4 numbers "1000" in the corners. Very rare. A similar note (Lot # 0169) in XF grade was sold € 1448 at Jean-Paul Vannier in the Catalog Paper Money # 14, March 1982 (Lot # 1086).
