Remarks from the book "WWII Remembered", page 100: Contemporary counterfeits of 100 franc denomination exist in many varieties and qualities. Not only do the block numbers 2-10 exist, as would be expected, but the numbers 0 and 1 were also counterfeited, even though there were no genuine notes with these blocks.
