By the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, the region's coal mines "Saar" was placed under administration of the League of Nations. Description: Green, yellow and brown multicolored design. Exceptional proofs uniface front and reverse. Based on the model of 5 francs "Violet" type 1917. Front with french text and back with german text. No watermark. Size: 125x80mm.
